Count Dracula
Dracula is a very selfish creature that is willing to do anything to reach his goals. He has no sympathy for others and uses a persona to disguise his true self to those that don’t know him. This is seen with the way he initially treats Johnathan Harker when they first meet. Though, Johnathan soon learns that though Dracula may seem nice, in reality he is rather cruel and manipulative. Dracula also has a superiority complex, this may have arisen due to his immortality as a vampire. As a vampire he is extremely fast, and strong which make him a formidable foe that is virtually indestructible. His indestructibility makes him the ultimate predator and on the top of the food chain, which causes him to look down upon other species. But, because of his vampirism he is also vulnerable to sunlight and can die within in it.
Dracula is also a very intelligent individual. As he has lived several centuries, he has, overtime, accumulated a vast amount of knowledge from both novels and experiences. Due to this he understands the complex nature of humans and can easily manipulate them. But his knowledge has also given him a strategic method of thinking. He is able to easily figure out that the weakness of his enemies lies within their women and targets them to make his enemies weak, so that they will not oppose him. He is rather power hungry and assures his dominance over others through fear.
Although, Dracula may seem unshakable, when his power is compromised and his life is in danger he flees back to Transylvania. This shows his fear of death and vulnerability. Due to his life as an immortal that has the ability to shape shift into various animals, he is very confident about himself and his survival, but once he is vulnerable he becomes afraid, and his fear becomes his main priority.
